We are pleased to announce that we added Ocilion IPTV Technologies to our customer portfolio this week. The Austrian company, based in Ried/Innkreis, was founded in 2004 and develops and distributes IPTV complete solutions for operators and for in-house applications. Its clients in Austria, Switzerland, Germany and Liechtenstein, Ocilion offers two business segments: “iptv carrier” (solutions for operators) and “iptv 500” (hotel, healthcare and corporate iptv).
With its latest product, “Vorleistungsdienst” (service in advance), Ocilion provides operators and public utilities with a whitelabel product for setting up their own IPTV offer, which resembles a rental option of their iptv carrier solution. This service contains live TV, EPG, replay, catchup TV and PVR. From now on the “Vorleistungsdienst” also includes foreign language TV packages and the retransmission rights for the channels are granted by Mediapool Content Services. Customers can choose between a Polish, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish TV package. TV channels from Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina shall be added soon.
