As of today, the traditional digital aerial television DVB-T (Digital Video Broadcast – Terrestrial), which has been available until now, will be switched off and users of this receive path now have the option to switch to the new digital standard DVB-T2 or to choose an alternative solution. The main innovations of DVB-T2 include a larger number of receivable channels, the possibility to watch HD channels based on particular technical conditions as well as a fee for the reception of the large private channels from July, 1st 2017.
