Since the beginning of January, Turkish customers in North-Rhine Westphalia, Hesse and Baden-Württemberg will be able to watch Turkish original movies as VoD offering (video-on-demand) via Unitymedia’s video library. At the beginning of a test phase, customers can choose from 47 feature films. New movies will be added on a regular basis.
This new service is based on a cooperation of the Berlin VoD content and rights provider Bosphorus Movies with the network operator Unitymedia and Mediapool as service provider for content clarification and Marketing. Through this strategic alliance, Mediapool reacts on the increasing demand for VoD content in foreign-language target groups and extends its basic offer – the licensing and Marketing of foreign-language TV and radio channels – by international VoD content.
