We congratulate our longtime partner Peter Tietzki and his TV channel OstWest. On November, 10th OstWest was awarded the Hanns Joachim Friedrichs Prize of 2022. After having received the special prize of the German National Foundation on June, 2nd 2022, this is the second tribute from a renowned committee for the outstanding and independent journalistic work of Peter Tietzki’s team. The journalists working at OstWest feel obliged to reportings that are based only on facts, even under pressure from hate comments and accusations of fake news from well known directions. In addition to OstWest, we are since mid of 2022 also offering the news channel OstWest24 in Russian and Ukrainian language, which reports on Russia and the war in Ukraine in close cooperation with Deutsche Welle, BBC, Radio Liberty and further independent media. More information can be found here.
